Dr. Yousefi is Double Board-Certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and the American Board of Interventional Pain Management. His training combines neurology, pain medicine and rehabilitation in a way that is rare in private practice.
He completed his Neurology Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, consistently ranked among the top hospitals in neurology and neurosurgery. He then pursued a clinical research fellowship in Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation at New York University, and an Interventional Pain Management fellowship at the University of California, Davis, which received the nation’s Pain Fellowship Excellence Award during his tenure.
In addition to caring for patients, he is involved in teaching at Loma Linda University Hospital and has authored numerous research publications in pain management and rehabilitation.
